Relying on a network of established hockey contacts all over North America and extending to Europe, the PARAPHE team deploys efforts aiming to provide the player with exposure to find the best possible team fit. Our player profiles are distributed to all teams in North America and in Europe as well.
A successful hockey player career begins with an optimum physical condition. PARAPHE teams up with the best resources in athletic development, nutrition and hockey skills development to help its client-players reach their utmost potential on the ice. PARAPHE also provides special summer training programs and specialized hockey clinics.
The PARAPHE staff will help the athlete establish his game plan for a productive hockey career. They will give him time, lend a listening ear and offer overall support throughout his professional hockey career and provide access to the tools and education he needs to reach his objectives. These objectives can be professional and skill oriented, but also personal, and include financial management, education, and post-career management.
An invitation to a tryout or a draft possibility are opportunities for which a special preparation is in order, especially at the beginning of a professional career. PARAPHE offers draft preparation at CHL and QMJHL levels as well as support at NHL level. Our input includes pre-draft player exposure, athletic counselling as well as counselling in view of pre-draft medicals and interviews.
We like to work on an open basis with team management staff to encourage communication with the player and create favorable ground for development and conflict resolution.
We also assist players with grievances using the tools provided to them by their CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) and through communication with the NHLPA and PHPA advisors.
